Stage Your Home for Next to Nothing
Now that the market is heading back to a place of normalcy and pre-covid average sale times, some seller's are deciding it's not economical to professionally stage a home. So I've come up with some home staging tips that won't break the bank

while making your home show-ready. If I think we need to bring in a professional stager, I will honestly tell you but, a lot of the times we can utilize these tips to ensure more money stays in your pocket.
Bring your furniture off the walls -- this is a trick to make rooms look bigger and more spacious, even if it's just a few feet.
Create mini "vignettes" throughout your home and stage end tables, nightstands, or empty surfaces with plants, fresh flowers, frames, and other decorative accents. Use Pinterest as a way to find inspiration and utilize the dollar store as a way to find staging knick-knacks. 
Freshen up baseboards, moldings and trim with white paint. Also consider painting walls a neutral colour to appeal to more buyers.
Set the dinner table as though you were about to have a dinner party. It can help buyers easily imagine their gatherings around the table. Think place mats, cloth napkins, "clean" looking plates/cutlery and finish it off with a centrepiece.
Declutter and remove personal items such as family photos. Really utilize that infamous "junk drawer" Replace with inviting touches ie for the bathroom think fancy hand soaps, a basket filled with white towels, etc. Also utilize Pinterest for ideas. 
Spruce up the yard and create curb appeal by mowing the lawn, raking leaves and adding fresh landscaping, mulch, and potted plants. You can also pressure wash the exterior of the home, patio/deck/porch, and walkways. Add seating to create a welcoming place so potential buyers can experience their new backyard oasis. Pro tip: I highly recommend trying some of these tips even if you aren't selling! Fresh flowers go a long way in brightening up a room and your mood!
